Who are the 287 Squadron Sponsoring Committee?
What are their responsibilities?
Parents who are unable to attend meetings are encouraged to contact a member of the SSC to see if there are other ways you can help. We need a large number of volunteers with different skills and talents to assist in various capacities!
VOLUNTEER SCREENING PROCESSThe squadron needs volunteers to assist with planning, fundraising and the conduct of squadron training activities. In order to volunteer with Cadets there is a process that varies slightly depending on the level of involvement you will have directly with cadets. Please speak with the Squadron Sponsoring Committee or the Commanding Officer if you are interested and they will advise what your next steps would look like. In order to be a screened driver for bottle drives, a police vulnerable sector screening is required. To obtain one, provide a copy of this letter to the police service where you live:
(Please note that there are other volunteer opportunities that do not require screening.) |
