Fundraising
Dear Parents,
We are reaching out to seek your support for our squadron's upcoming fundraising efforts. 80% of our operating budget relies on the fundraising efforts of our squadron and your involvement is crucial to our success. This year, our dedicated Squadron Sponsoring Committee has organized a diverse series of fundraisers designed to have a little something for everyone. Your participation and support in these events will make a significant difference, ensuring that we continue to provide valuable experiences and opportunities for our cadets. We look forward to working together to achieve our goals and appreciate your commitment to our cause.
We are asking each family to provide three $100 volunteer bond payments Cash is preferred but three post-dated cheques in the amount of $100 each, made payable to 287 Beaumont Air Cadet Squadron Sponsoring Committee, dated May 31, 2025 are also acceptable. Please ensure you include your cadet(s)’ name in the memo section of the cheque.
For each volunteer activity you participate in, one volunteer bond payment will be returned to you (or shredded depending upon your indicated preference) up to a total of three.

| Oct 2nd - Nov 13th | Gift Card Fundraiser (Fundscrip) | $500.00 | Help us earn money by purchasing gift cards for your personal use or to give as gifts. 200+ vendors to select from. |
| Oct 30 | Pie Throwing | $200 | Test your aim. How good is your arm? Find out while having fun and raising $ for the squadron. Pie throwing at adult staff and warrants - $5 per pie (Artificial topping - no real pies were harmed during this event. 😊) |

| Nov to Jan | Cash Calendars | $1500.00 Volunteer Opportunity | Pre-pay for your calendars ($20 each) for a chance to win one of 64 cash prizes. Sell them to your friends and family, proceeds from the sale are returned to our squadron. Sale of 10 calendars = 1 volunteer bond |

| Feb 1 - Mar 15 | Raffle Box 50/50 | $3000.00 Volunteer Opportunity | We are hosting a 50/50 Raffle Draw to help raise funds for the cost of renting our facilities at the CCBCC. Your support will directly benefit our cadets by ensuring they have the space they need for their training and activities. 🎟 How to Participate: 1. Buy a Raffle Ticket: Every ticket you purchase increases your chances of winning and helps our cadets! 2. Spread the Word: Share this with your family, friends, and on social media! The more people who participate, the more we raise! 💰 Proceeds from the raffle will go towards covering facility costs to keep our cadet program running strong. This is a great way to support local youth and get involved with the community. 📅 Draw Date: March 19th, 2025 @ the CCBCC Volunteer Opportunity Guidelines: - For every $100 you sell under your cadet's name, it will count as 1 Volunteer Commitment -If you sell $200, it counts as 2 Volunteer Commitments, and so on. - Be sure that family and friends sign up under their own names when making purchases to ensure proper credit. |

| Year-round | Canteen Donations | $1500.00 | Help raise funds by donating much needed food and drink items to the Cadet’s canteen. 100% of profits go back to the squadron. |
