Activity Location: Fort Scott, Legion of the Frontiersman - Hastings Lake, AB

Drop-off: 6:00 PM Friday May 10th - Beaumont Community Centre

Pick-up: 5:00 PM Sunday May 12th - Beaumont Community Centre

Dress: Field Training Uniform with issued Flat brim Tilley Hat. Squadron Ball Cap also acceptable. Headdress is REQUIRED.

Kit-List: Please see the required kit list HERE.

Meals: Meals provided are MRE and IMP military rations. If you have specific dietary restrictions that these meals will not work please bring snacks to supplement or email the squadron to determine the best options. 

Notes: Cadets do NOT need a pocket knife for this exercise.

Dress: Weather appropriate civilian attire with athletic shoes. Headdress is REQUIRED. Please note this is an activity that involves running/jogging in a cross-country environment.

Kit-List: Water bottle.

Meals: Lunch will be provided. Vegetarian options will be available. Please indicate this requirement on sign-up sheet.

Year-End Awards and Promotions Parade - Wednesday May 29th - 8:00PM

Activity Location: Beaumont Community Centre (CCBCC)

Drop-off/Pick-up: Regular training night timings.

Dress: C1A - Full Dress uniform.

Notes: Year end awards for training, as well as the majority of year-end promotions will occur on this parade. Additional medals and awards will be presented on the ACR on Saturday June 1st. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend. Parade starts at 8:00PM.

Annual Ceremonial Review - Saturday June 1st - 10:00AM

Activity Location: Ken Nichol Arena, 5303 50 St, Beaumont, AB T4X 1E5

Drop-off/Pick-up: Cadets arrive 8:00AM for practice and set-up. Cadets will be dismissed approximately 12:00PM.

Parade Start: Parade will start promptly at 10:00AM. All guests are asked to be seated for that time. 

Dress: C1A - Full Dress uniform.

Notes: Year end ceremonial parade. Special guests, Reviewing Officer from 408 Tactical Helicopter Squadron will be in attendance. Medals and awards will be presented. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend. Parade starts at 10:00AM.

Change of Command Parade - Wednesday June 5th - 7:30PM

Activity Location: Beaumont Community Centre (CCBCC)

Drop-off/Pick-up: Cadets arrive 6:45PM for practice and set-up. Cadets will be dismissed approximately 9:00PM.

Dress: C1A - Full Dress uniform.

Notes: This ceremonial parade occurs every three years when the current Commanding Officer hands over command of the Squadron to a new CO. This year, Capt Tyler Bryan will be handing over command of the parade to Capt Chelsea Robinson. Parents are encouraged to attend and there will be an opportunity for parents to meet with the outgoing and incoming CO prior to the ceremony.
